Health and safety
We aim to provide employees with a safe workplace and to develop a culture of workplace safety. To do so, we are implementing the internationally recognized safety management system OHSAS 18001, and are working towards full certification.
At each of our sites, safety committees include both management and employees. To address specific safety risks, we develop targeted training programmes. For example, our Safe and Eco-Driving programme is helping us to reduce accidents among our fleet.
Our safety performance is reported in our annual Group CSR Report.
Health and wellbeing
We also conduct programs to promote healthy active lifestyles among our employees. We motivate them to participate in sports events, encourage them to be physical active and provide professional medical checks on a regular basis.
During the Active Days offered by Coca-Cola Hellenic Austria once a month, employees have the opportunity to pursue physical activities during working hours under professional supervision. They can try new sports such as Nordic walking, yoga or exercising with a thera-band. As a side effect, many new groups among the staff have formed, which are now also meeting outside work to go running or break a sweat in yoga or thera-band workouts.
