Superior Taste Award 

Superior Taste Award

Römerquelle mild, the just slightly carbonated natural mineral water from Römerquelle, won the top honors of three stars in the Superior Taste Award of the International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi) in Brussels.

iTQi has conferred the Superior Taste Award since 2005 for foods and beverages of premium quality and outstanding taste. The winners are chosen by a top-class international jury consisting of renowned chefs and accomplished sommeliers, who taste products from all over the world. Römerquelle mild was categorized as an exceptional product in the categories appearance, taste, clarity and aftertaste and received the top honors of three stars.

Beverage Innovation Award 2009

In 2009, Römerquelle emotion for the second time won a prize for one of its new flavor creations. Römerquelle emotion blackberry|lime won the Beverage Innovation Award 2009 in the category “Best flavoured water”.

An elegant gala was held on occasion of the drinktec trade fair in Munich at which companies from 40 countries were honored for their innovations and initiatives in the areas of packaging, ingredients, sustainability and advertising, among others.

Green football project "Umwelt am Ball"

Coca-Cola Hellenic implemented numerous environmental measures within the framework of its sustainability concept for the UEFA EURO 2008™ and was the first company to become a partner of the Ministry of Environment in the green football project titled "Umwelt am Ball".

"klima:aktiv" certificate

Coca-Cola Hellenic was much praised by the Ministry of Environment for replacing its fleet by over 100 natural gas-powered cars within the “klima:aktiv” initiative. In the long run, Coca-Cola Hellenic plans to power a big part of its car fleet with alternative fuels. Natural gas-powered cars are the ideal alternative to the company cars used so far.


Innovation Award

Beverage Innovation Award 2007

At the "Innobev Global Soft Drink Congress" 2007 in Madrid, Römerquelle emotion marula won an award in the category "Best Innovative Ingredient" among the competing 120 entries from 17 countries.

Römerquelle emotion marula also made the final shortlist in the category "Best Overall Concept", which shows the extraordinary quality of the Römerquelle emotion concept.


Global Compact

Coca-Cola Austria was pleased to be accepted as an official member of the United Nations Global Compact on March 8th 2006. Launched in 2000, the United Nations Global Compact brings business together with UN agencies, labour, civil society and governments to advance ten universal principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
